[Contest Overview]

  • Application Period: February 26 – May 7
  • Announcement of Results: May 26 (via The Korea Times newspaper and website)
  • Eligibility: Foreign nationals and overseas Koreans whose native language is not Korean

 

[Categories]

  • Speaking: Free topic or “What is your favorite K?” (Long-form / Short-form)
  • Pronunciation: Korean Tongue Twister Challenge

 

[How to Apply]

  • Create & Upload Video: Upload your video on your SNS (YouTube, TikTok, Instagram, etc.) with the required hashtags
  • Submit Application: Complete the online application form and submit your video link through the official submission page

 

[Benefits of Participation]

  1. Certificate of Participation: Issued upon request
  2. Internship Opportunity: One winner who is currently enrolled in a university (undergraduate/graduate) in Korea will be selected for a summer internship with The Korea Times video team
